Who We Are?

The senior graduates of Ziauddin University in North America have been doing efforts to establish North America Chapter for past few years. The official announcement was made in the First Reunion held in December 2021on the 25th Anniversary of Ziauddin Medical College. The “ZU Alumni Association of North America” (ZUAANA), as it was called then, operated for all alumni of the Ziauddin Medical College.

ZUAANA is now registered to the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA) and the APPNA leadership is eager to bring the ZU Alumni Association under its umbrella similar to other alumni associations of major medical schools from Pakistan. A formal resolution will be introduced at the Annual APPNA meeting held soon and ZUAANA formally inducted as a component society of APPNA next year with full voting rights. In 2022, we are also planning to organize reunion during the APPNA Winter Meeting held in December in Pakistan.

The Executive Council of the association adopt its mission and vision to broadly encompass and guide its growth. We look forward to serving the needs of alumni, our communities in Pakistan and America.
